Adams makes Millers move

Rotherham have completed the signing of Nicky Adams from Crawley for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old, who was out of contract with the Red Devils in the summer, is the Millers' seventh signing of the transfer window and has penned a two-and-a-half year deal. Adams was the subject of a bid from Steve Evans' men in November, but that move fell through and suitably impressed by his performance in last week's 2-2 draw between the two clubs, the former Crawley boss renewed his interest. The Millers have also extended the loan deal of QPR striker Tom Hitchcock until the end of the season. Hitchcock has scored one goal in four appearances so far at New York. "I am delighted to be staying until the end of the season," he said. "I just want to play games and score goals and hopefully I can help the team to promotion. "I've loved my time here so far, it has been a great experience for me. The lads have been great and I've settled in well, so I am just delighted to be staying."
