Saunders: It's good to be back

Brentford winger Sam Saunders hopes he has put his injury misery behind him and continue to start.

Saunders started his first match since the end of August against Chesterfield on Saturday and scored the opening goal from a free kick before setting up Dale Bennett for a second as the Bees ran out 2-1 winners. "It's been a long two months since I was injured, I was just pleased to be on the pitch," he said. "I've been fit for three weeks and had to bide my time to get back in. I was going to be a substitute against Scunthorpe, but unfortunately I was ill. "I've done my knee, fallen ill and broken my hand. I was wondering when my season was going to get started."
