Notts County winger Julian Jenner has been handed a three-match ban after accepting a charge of violent conduct for his part in an incident during his side's recent FA Cup defeat at Salford City.
Jenner, an 82nd-minute substitute, kicked the ball into the crowd in frustration towards the end of Notts' televised 2-0 first-round defeat and video footage posted on social media shows a Salford fan throwing a cup of tea at him during the altercation.
A brief statement on Notts County's official website read: "Julian Jenner has been handed a three-match ban by the Football Association.
"The ban relates to an incident late in the Emirates FA Cup First Round defeat to Salford City on Friday 6th November.
"Jenner, who has made five starts for Notts this season, has accepted the charge of violent conduct."
The 31-year-old Dutchman, a free summer signing from Hungarian side Diosgyor, will miss forthcoming league fixtures against Northampton, Barnet and Cambridge.
