Wycombe have signed goalkeeper Ryan Allsop from Bournemouth on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The Chairboys' first-choice shot-stopper Alex Lynch suffered a hip injury during the 1-0 win at Plymouth last weekend, with 46-year-old coach Barry Richardson coming on in his place.

Allsop, 23, is now expected to make his debut against Luton on Saturday.

Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth told the club's official website: "Bringing a player of Ryan's ability to the club is a big coup for us. He's a tall, commanding keeper who's an excellent shot-stopper and he'll be a great addition to what is already a strong backline.

"I feel desperately sorry for Alex who was just beginning to establish himself as the number one keeper here, and we really hope he makes a speedy recovery."
