Defensive midfielder Ben Tozer has become Newport's latest signing.
The 26-year-old, formerly of Swindon, Newcastle, Northampton and Yeovil, has put pen to paper on a one-year deal with the Sky Bet League Two side.
Tozer told the club's official website: "It has been a bit of a whirlwind with the deal being sorted out so quickly, but I'm delighted to get the deal done and over the line.
"I have been over the training ground this afternoon and met some of the lads. Speaking to (manager) Warren (Feeney) it is clear that he has impressive plans for the squad and it is something that I'm looking forward to being a part of."
Feeney added: "Ben is another fantastic addition for us.
"He has experience at this level which will be a great benefit for us and is another player that has the right mentality, and I'm sure he will gel in well with the players that we have added to the squad over the summer."
