Week five of the EFL produced some sensational goals, including these eight stunners for you to enjoy...

Making our selection of the best goals of the day, we've got Jack Grealish's early opener against Bristol City and, from the same game, Lee Tomlin's free kick for the Robins as Villa squandered their lead in a 3-1 defeat.

Jonjo Shelvey's cracking first goal for Newcastle also features, as his excellent free-kick sealed a 2-0 win for the Mapgies at home to Brighton.

Gillingham's Jay Emmanuel-Thomas scored twice in their victory at Shrewsbury, with his stunning second goal pulling the visitors level with a stunning shot into the top corner.

Jack Marriott contributed to Luton's 3-0 victory at Cambridge with a tremendous strike, while Grimsby's Dominic Vose curled a sumptuous effort in from 25 yards in a seven-goal thriller at Blundell Park, as his side beat Stevenage 5-2.

Elsewhere, Blackburn old boy Tom Cairney scored a last-gasp winner to inflict a devastating defeat on his former club as Fulham snatched a 1-0 win at Ewood Park.

Finally on our list, Kalvin Phillips gave Leeds a late lifeline against Nottingham Forest with his 84th-minute wonder-goal, but it wasn't to be for Garry Monk's side who suffered a 3-1 defeat at the City Ground.
