Midfielder signs two-and-a-half year contract

Ali Fuseini has agreed a new contract to stay with League One club Millwall until 2010. The Ghanaian teenager's deal had been due to expire at the end of the season, but he has pledged his future to Kenny Jackett's side. The midfielder made his debut for the Lions last season and he has made 20 appearances this term. Fuseini follows the lead of team-mate Zak Whitbread, who signed a new deal at the Den last week. Lions boss Jackett still has to resolve the futures of several other players who are out of contract in the summer.

May boost

Meanwhile, Jackett says Ben May could have a future at the club after the striker scored in the FA Cup replay win over Walsall. Jackett said: "Ben elected to stay with us despite the interest from Shrewsbury which was very good, and he has been very good since then. "He is back in training and he looks a handful - he has a great physical presence about him and a nice touch and that proved key. "Ben's situation is ongoing at the moment, but he was one of a number of good performances right through the team."
