Imps get fitness boost

Lee Frecklington, Lenell John-Lewis and Martin Pembleton are all expected to be fit in time for the start of pre-season training.

Trio set to return for Lincoln

Lincoln trio Lee Frecklington, Lenell John-Lewis and Martin Pembleton are all expected to return to full fitness in time for the start of pre-season training. Frecklington suffered a dislocated shoulder on the final day of last season and has now been given the all-clear after undergoing an MRI scan recently. John-Lewis and Pembleton, meanwhile, have also been struggling with a hip and knee injury respectively, but are well on the road to recovery. "We met with Freck's consultant last week and I'm pleased to say that as expected he didn't find anything notable from the results of the MRI scan," said Lincoln physio Michael Wait. "We're hopeful that he'll be ready in time for the start of pre-season training. "The only other two injuries that we've had to worry about is Martin's knee injury and Lenny's knock to the hip. I'm confident that both will return to pre-season training with the rest of the squad."
