Still hoping to hang on to Nurse and Foster

Dagenham & Redbridge are still in talks to tie down Jon Nurse and Danny Foster to new contracts. Striker Nurse and defender Foster are both out of contract, but have been offered deals to stay at the League Two club. John Still is confident Nurse will sign an extension and is waiting to find out Foster's intentions regarding his future. The Daggers boss told the Ilford Recorder: "We have offered Danny a new contract and he will get back to us on that, but I am well aware there might be other clubs interested in him. "Jon is invaluable to a club like ours as he can fill a number of positions. He has stated he will accept, so we will finalise that one shortly." However, Daggers have told Richard Graham, Jacob Erskine, Michael Alaile, Richard Priest and Kraig Rochester that they are all free to look for new clubs, while Jon Boardman has already joined Woking on a one-year contract.
