Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman is confident that star duo Michael Symes and Bobby Grant will sign new deals with the club.
The Lancashire outfit have excelled this season, overcoming financial problems to compete for a play-off place, but a loss of form in recent weeks has seen those dreams evaporate.
Winger Grant and striker Symes have been key players this season, but with both out of contract in the summer a number of admirers are keeping tabs on the young duo.
The long-serving Stanley boss told skysports.com that he hopes to have both on board for next season.
"I'm quite confident that they will sign the new deals that we have offered them, but you never know until everything is completed," he said.
"There are a few players that we are sitting down with, but we are also hoping to strengthen as well in the summer and maybe change our approach and strategy for next season."
Stanley's success this season has been impressive given the off-field difficulties the club has encountered and Coleman believes they can kick-on next season and compete for the play-offs once again.
"It will be difficult to attract players here this summer, but that is the job of a manager every year," he admitted.
"You have to try and work with the budget that you get and then juggle things around until you get what you want.
"The main thing is that you bring players in that suit the style of football that you play and subscribe to your ethos of how you play the game.
"Having done so well this season we will be wanting to fight for a play-off place as well next season.
"If we can keep improving then we will continue to do well and that is always our aim at the start of every season."
