Wycombe striker Jon-Paul Pittman's operation to cure a ruptured tendon in his right knee was successful.
The 23-year-old picked up the injury warming up before the Chairboys 2-1 defeat by Macclesfield and is expected to be out for around four months. The former Nottingham Forest and Crawley forward will spent three weeks in a brace before starting rehab. Stuart Ayles, Wycombe's head of medical and sport science, told the club's official website: "JP had the operation as planned and it went well. The surgeon is very pleased with the results. "I spoke to Jon-Paul earlier and he's a bit sore but that is to be expected."
