Shrewsbury's Jake Robinson says it is difficult to pin-point one single factor behind his turnaround in form this season.
The striker, who turns 24 later this month, is far and away Town's top scorer with eight goals so far this term in 12 starts - twice as many as he managed in the whole of last season when he played somewhat of a bit-part role. Robinson's transformation has helped Shrews fill the void left by Dave Hibbert's departure, and the Brighton-born forward points to the wake-up call he received last season, the managerial change at the club and a personally rigorous pre-season for his upturn, among various other reasons. "I can't put my finger on one thing. It's been a number of things," he told Shrews Player. "I'm more settled now, it sometimes takes a little while to get used to a new club and a new area so that's helped. "And I think we've got some fantastic players this year which is obviously helping team performance - that brings on better individual performances. "And I've been kind of looking after myself a bit better, I've been making little changes in my own personal life away from football that are helping, just things like my food and how I'm living at home. Just little changes that all come together as one. It's making a big difference in my life."
