Daggers striker to see out season at Plainmoor

Torquay United have agreed a deal to extend the loan of Dagenham & Redbridge striker Gavin Tomlin until the end of the season. Tomlin has scored once in four appearances since joining Torquay earlier in the month and manager Paul Buckle had been discussing an extension. Dagenham will have a recall clause in the deal and Buckle feels keeping Tomlin is a big boost to the Gulls' promotion hopes. "It is a big plus to keep Gavin Tomlin," Buckle told the club's official website. "John Still has agreed to extend the loan. "There will be a call-back on that, in case Dagenham get into trouble. "John Still has been brilliant and Gavin is going to stay with us."
