Pesch remains switched on

Burton boss Paul Peschisolido has warned his players about 'switching off' in the closing stages of matches.

After allowing Plymouth a lifeline with a 90th-minute goal during the 2-1 home victory over the Devon club on Saturday, the Brewers have now conceded six goals in the final 10 minutes of games this season. Argyle's goal came too late to deny Burton the win but it set the alarm bells ringing loudly in the ears of Peschisolido. "You can't afford to fall asleep at any stage in the 90 minutes and that's something we've got to stop," said the Canadian. "I don't want to create something psychological by keep bringing it up, but it's happened now on numerous occasions. "I'm disappointed at some of the lacklustre reactions when the ball went dead." Peschisolido added: "We're only six games in and we've still got loads to work on. We're going to make sure we're stronger, we're going to make sure we're fitter and we're going to make sure we continue we keep doing what we're doing in front of goal."
