Gradi could sign one more

Crewe manager Dario Gradi has not ruled out the possibility of bringing one more signing to The Alexandra Stadium.

The Alex boss has had a busy summer trying to identify players to improve the squad and says funds are available. "There is still room in the budget if we want to bring somebody in, but he has to be the right player. We have looked at a lot of players this summer and Neil Baker keeps giving me new names, so we will keep on looking," Gradi told the club's official website. One player Gradi is keeping a close eye on is trialist striker Broadie Mooy. The 21-year-old Australian is likely to be part of a second string side that takes on a Kidderminster XI at Reaseheath. "He came at the end of last week and has impressed so far. He is strong and looked good during a one-on-one finishing session we had when he was finishing with both feet, so we will have a look at him," he added.
