Buxton boss Martin McIntosh has hinted at the possibility of Chesterfield defender Jack Broadhead returning to the club in January.

Teenager Broadhead made 16 appearances for the Bucks after linking up the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division side ahead of the current campaign. He returned to his parent club last weekend but McIntosh insists the loan was a success for all concerned and hopes to have the centre-half back at Silverlands in the new year. "Hopefully Jack will have benefitted from his loan spell here," McIntosh told the Derbyshire Times. "I was really happy with how he performed during his spell here and he's got a bright future. "There's certainly an option to bring him back to the club in January and if it's possible then it's something we would look into."
