AFC Wimbledon have won their appeal against George Francomb's red card on Boxing Day.
The midfielder was dismissed for a challenge on Rob Kiernan in the 1-0 defeat by Southend. The Dons immediately appealed against the decision, which meant Francomb could play against Plymouth on Sunday. And the FA on Monday announced it had rescinded the straight red card, meaning Francomb will not serve a three-match ban. He will therefore be in the Dons squad which travels to Dagenham on New Year's Day.
