Yates: We showed our quality

Cheltenham boss Mark Yates felt his side did enough to warrant some reward from their 2-1 defeat at high-flying Burton.

Byron Harrison broke the deadlock for the Robins in the 62nd minute with a 12-yard shot after a powerful run by Jason Taylor. But Dominic Knowles pulled Burton level from close range nine minutes later before grabbing the winning goal in the 85th minute. Yates said: "Burton are decent side, we all know that, but I think we've shown here that we are as well. "Both teams had a couple of good chances first half, with a couple of good saves by the 'keepers, but we got the goal and started to frustrate them even more. "They brought the fresh legs on and all credit to them for that, but we didn't help ourselves. "They scored their first after we gave the ball away near their corner flag and the second was the direct result of a useless ball out of defence. "That's why I'm bitterly disappointed because we deserved something out of the game. "We've just got to concentrate our efforts now on playing as well as we did for 65 or 70 minutes here. If we do that then we'll be okay for the rest of the season."
