Stuart Nelson - Gillingham
The keeper kept two clean sheets away from home as second-placed Gillingham picked up four points to maintain their push for promotion. First Nelson and his defence kept Bradford at bay in the 1-0 win at Valley Parade, with the keeper producing a superb double save in the first period to deny Bradford captain Gary Jones and top scorer Nahki Wells. Then the Gills travelled to York on Tuesday and also denied the Minstermen, including Nelson saving a header from Michael Rankine at Bootham Crescent.
Lee Brown - Bristol Rovers
The Bristol Rovers left-back scored and helped his side keep a clean sheet in the valuable 2-0 win at Oxford on Saturday, which lifted the Pirates five points clear of the drop zone. Brown had to keep his cool to notch from the penalty spot after Ryan Brunt had been brought down by Jake Wright - he had to re-take his first effort because of encroachment, but struck his second attempt in exactly the same place as the first, sending Oxford's new goalkeeper Luke McCormick the wrong way for a second time.
Kelvin Langmead - Northampton
The central defender notched his sixth goal of the season in Northampton's 3-1 win over Rochdale at Sixfields. His goal came when the visitors failed to clear a corner and Langmead was there to turn the ball in to restore his side's lead. The Cobblers then pushed on for the win and climbed back into the League Two play-off places.
Leon Legge - Gillingham
Like keeper Nelson, the Gills defender also played his full part in helping his side keep two clean sheets on the road. In particular, Legge was in the right place at York to block Rankine's goal-bound header on the line from Ashley Chambers' corner.
Barry Fuller - Barnet
Fuller makes it into the team after he helped Barnet hold league leaders Port Vale to a goalless draw at Underhill to earn a point and climb out of the drop zone. The Valiants had scored on their last seven league and cup games on the road but could find no way through at Underhill as their lead at the top was cut to just one point.
Jason Banton - Plymouth
The on-loan Crystal Palace winger notched a first-half brace as Plymouth won 2-1 at fellow strugglers Aldershot to climb two points clear of their rivals, who slipped into the drop zone. Banton opened the scoring after five minutes with a low 25-yard deflected effort before sealing the points when coolly cutting inside and curling the ball past Jamie Young.
Luke Howell - Dagenham & Redbridge
Luke Howell notched the only goal of the game as Dagenham claimed their first-ever win over Cheltenham on Saturday. Howell's 56th-minute goal into the top corner was Hhis eighth goal of the season and his first for six games as John Still's battling side ended a frustrating run of three matches without a win in League Two.
Nathan Doyle - Bradford
The Bradford midfielder notched a brace as Phil Parkinson's side beat in-form Wycombe 3-0 on Tuesday to re-fire their promotion push. Doyle scored the opener from the edge of the area after just 56 seconds and then added his second from the penalty spot seven minutes from time as Bradford halted a six game winless run in the league as boost their promotion hopes.
Junior Brown - Fleetwood
The winger notched the second goal in his side's 2-0 win at Oxford on Tuesday as Fleetwood posted back-to-back victories on the road to move into fourth in the table. Fresh from Saturday's 1-0 win at Torquay, the Cod Army secured the points on Tuesday thanks to goals from Ryan Crowther and Brown at the Kassam Stadium. Brown made sure of the points with a low diving header - his ninth goal of the campaign.
Jamie Cureton - Exeter
Top scorer Cureton struck twice either side of a goal from Arron Davies as promotion-chasing Exeter secured a club-record tenth away victory of the season with a 3-0 success at Morecambe. The 37-year-old notched a fine goal in the 62nd minute from just inside the box. He then scored in stoppage time with another top quality finish, hammering the ball in from an acute angle.
Billy Kee - Burton
Kee was the star of the show for fifth-placed Burton as he pounced either side of the break to set up Gary Rowett's men for a sixth successive home victory against nine-man Rotherham. The frontman first fastened onto a flick by fellow striker Michael Symes and turned Kari Arnison before shooting low past Andy Warrington in the 36th minute. Kee then struck again 10 minutes after the break, this time turning past Johnny Mullins on the edge of the area before finding the bottom corner to seal the points.
