Hartlepool striker Scott Fenwick has joined Tranmere on loan until the end of the season.
Fenwick will go straight into Rovers' squad for Friday's home Vanarama National League game against Lincoln.
The 25-year-old has scored six goals in 30 appearances for Hartlepool this season but has recently been unable to force his way into the starting line-up.
Fenwick joined Pools from non-League side Dunston UTS in November 2014 and has scored a total of 12 goals in 49 appearances.
