Walsall and Swindon maintained their perfect starts to the League Two season.
Walsall and Swindon maintained their perfect starts to the League Two season with victories over Hartlepool and Rochdale respectively.
It is Walsall who find themselves on top of the pile on goal difference following their 2-0 win over Hartlepool.
Midfielder Dean Keates struck both goals (18 & 29) at The Bescot Stadium.
Dennis Wise maintained his great start to life with Swindon after they claimed a 1-0 win over Rochdale, with the only goal coming after 44 minutes when Alan Goodall (pictured) put through his own net.
Torquay looked like joining the top two on nine points, but they conceded two goals in the final minute and lost out to Lincoln.
Darren Garner (52) had put The Gulls ahead and Ian Atkins's men looked like claiming maximum spoils, but Paul Morgan levelled for The Red Imps before former Torquay star Martin Gritton broke Plainmoor hearts with a strike five minutes into injury time.
Peterborough lost their 100 percent record, but they are still unbeaten after drawing 0-0 at Wrexham.
Previous leaders Darlington came off the rails in spectacular fashion at Boston as they lost 4-1 at York Street.
Paul Tait put Boston ahead early on only for Barry Conlon to level on the half hour. However, The Pilgrims took charge in the second half with Tim Ryan (68 pen) and Julian Joachim (76 & 90) both finding the net.
Chester, who were also going into the day with a perfect record, went down 2-0 at Hereford - who along with Accrington, grabbed their first home win since returning to the league.
The Bulls did not take the lead until 19 minutes from time when Stuart Fleetwood struck and they wrapped up the match just minutes later when Richard Rose pounced.
Accrington claimed their historic home victory thanks to two goals from Benin star Romuald Boco - who struck either side (35 & 53) of the interval at The Frazer Eagle Stadium against Barnet. Simon King pulled one back for The Bees late on, but it was a mere consolation.
Milton Keynes Dons got back to winning ways as they claimed a 2-1 victory at win-less Macclesfield.
Clive Platt gave The MK Dons the lead (35), but the home side levelled just before the hour from the penalty spot through Kevin McIntyre - but The Silkmen could not hang on as Danny Swailes put past his own keeper with ten minutes left.
Bristol Rovers claimed their first points of the season as they beat Grimsby 1-0 at The Memorial Stadium as Andy Sandell's goal proved (50) crucial.
Mansfield came from behind to claim a 1-1 with Stockport. Keith Briggs put the visitors ahead midway through the first half, but former Hatter Matt Hamshaw levelled the match with just eight minutes remaining.
Notts County claimed their first win of the season as they inflicted a first defeat on Wycombe.
The only goal came after just 17 minutes when Junior Mendes struck. Wycombe's efforts were not helped by the sending off of Anthony Grant just before the break.
Bury find themselves lodged at the bottom after Shrewsbury claimed a 2-1 success at Gigg Lane.
John Fitzgerald put Bury ahead on 34 minutes, but two goals in the second half from Kelvin Langmead (67) and Ben Davies (pen 78) was enough for The Shrews.
