League One side make right-back fourth summer signing
League One outfit Hartlepool have signed defender Neil Austin following his release from North East rivals Darlington.
Pools have long-since been linked with the former Barnsley player and he is Chris Turner's fourth signing of the summer.
The 26-year-old right-back showed good form last term, being named in the League Two Team of the Year.
Director of sport Turner has also recruited Adam Boyd, Leon McSweeney and Peter Hartley - while he has agreed new deals with Andy Monkhouse and Michael Mackay - as he attempts to improve on the club's lowly 19th position last term.
