Striker invited to training at Hillsborough
Sky Sports understands Sheffield Wednesday are weighing up a move for Marlon Harewood.
Harewood is available on a free transfer after leaving Nottingham Forest at the end of last season.
The 32-year-old saw his second spell at Forest blighted by injury, but Harewood is now thought to have recovered from his injury problems.
Wednesday boss Dave Jones is believed to be a big admirer of Harewood and is ready to offer the former West Ham and Aston Villa man the chance to earn a deal at Hillsborough.
Harewood has been invited to join Wednesday for the start of pre-season training and if he impresses Jones and his coaching team he could win himself a move to the Championship new boys.
