Bolton have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Erhun Oztumer on a two-year contract with the option of a further year.

The 27-year-old was a free agent after turning down a number of offers to stay at Walsall.

Oztumer - who spent two years with the Saddlers and scored 32 goals in 95 appearances - passed a medical on Tuesday.

Bolton boss Phil Parkinson has been keen to bolster his attacking options after maintaining the club's Sky Bet Championship status on the final day of last season and the player is delighted to have completed his move to the Macron Stadium.

"I'm thrilled to put pen to paper and I just can't wait to get started now, " he told the club's official website.

"I am excited to test myself in the Sky Bet Championship with some great players and I'll be looking to show the Bolton faithful exactly what I am capable of.
