Martin Allen's MK Dons moved second in League Two as Rochdale held Hereford
Martin Allen's MK Dons moved second in League Two with an action packed 3-2 win over nine-man Notts County, whilst Walsall drew at Barnet and Rochdale held Hereford.
The crowd at The National Hockey Stadium saw their side claim a fifth win in six games, with Lloyd Dyer the catalyst for the victory with his brace (45, 53).
County's cause had been harmed as early as 32 minutes when Matt Somner received a second yellow card, and Alan White joined his team-mate for an early bath in identical fashion just after the hour mark.
The Dons made their superior numbers pay with a third goal through substitute Scott Taylor on 73 minutes, but then County began an unlikely fight-back.
Four minutes later the visitors scored thanks to Jason Lee, and Daniel Martin put them in sight of a point with an 83rd minute strike.
Walsall were unable to match Allen's side as they moved into joint fourth with a 1-1 draw at Barnet.
The Bees took the lead through Dean Sinclair in 16 minutes as they aimed to move away from the bottom of the table.
However, Dean Keates (pictured) ensured Walsall did not end the day empty handed with a goal on 58 minutes.
Bottom side Rochdale picked up their second point of the season in late penalty drama at Spotland.
Robert Purdey held his nerve from the spot to give Hereford the lead on 90 minutes, but incredibly the home side also equalised with another penalty from Gary Jones a full six minutes into injury time.
