Blackburn youngster extends loan into second month

Tranmere Rovers have extended the loan deal of Blackburn Rovers defender Andy Taylor by another month. The full-back has made six appearances for Tranmere since moving to Prenton Park in November and has impressed Ronnie Moore. The Rovers boss is delighted to have secured Taylor for a second month, particularly with the Christmas period on the horizon. "I'm delighted we have been able to keep Andy at the club for another month," Moore told the club's official website.

Excellent

"He has been excellent for us so far and we are pleased he has agreed to stay. "He can tackle, has pace, can pass and likes to get forward, so he is a great addition to the side. "I'd like to thank Blackburn manager Mark Hughes for allowing him to stay with us over the hectic Christmas period."
