Defender Matthew Heywood has accepted a new two-year deal with The Robins while goalkeeper Craig Farr has signed month-to-month terms with the club, after manager Andy King admitted to not having seen enough of the player to hand him a proper deal.
The County Ground outfit have also agreed terms with captain Andy Gurney to extend his current deal by another year, which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2005.
Heywood [pictured] was particularly pleased with his new deal at Swindon and hopes the Wiltshire side will challenge for the play-offs next year.
"I am pleased to get things out of the way before the summer break. It is a two-year deal so gives me that bit of security," Heywood told the club's official website.
"Everyone is looking forward to next season. The team spirit has been excellent this season.
"The year just gone was okay and I think we will hopefully be looking to challenge for a play-off spot next year."
