Miglioranzi (pictured) has signed a two-year contract while Howard has extended his deal for another season with the West Country outfit.
Former Southampton player Howard revealed that he is looking forward to the new campaign, as Andy King's side aim for a promotion push in League One.
"I, and we, have to step up the standards this year. I will be looking to start 10 or 15 more games this season," Howard told Swindon's official website.
"Hopefully, I can chip in with a few more goals as well, and we will be looking to have as good a start as last year."
Miglioranzi was delighted to receive a two-year contract from The Robins and stated his hope to remain injury-free during the following campaign.
"I think that the type of injuries I had made me suffer in certain parts of my game and the knocks that I took last year were quite harsh and my recovery was not too good," said Miglioranzi.
"Hopefully, this year, luck will be on my side and I will pick up fewer injuries and play in more games."
The news comes as The Football League have approved Swindon's transfer of centre back Jerel Ifil from Watford this week.
