Swindon hot shot Sam Parkin admits he does not get unsettled by speculation.Swindon Town hot shot Sam Parkin admits he is not allowing the continued speculation about his future to unsettle him.
Parkin has regularly been touted for a move away from The County Ground due to his consistent scoring for the League One club.
He has notched 23 goals this season and there are rumoured to be a string of Championship clubs keen to entice him up a level.
The 24-year-old has routinely stressed he wants to play in The Championship with Swindon and acknowledged he has no problems being linked with other clubs.
"During my time at Swindon I've probably been linked with about a dozen clubs and it is something you get used to," said Parkin.
"It is flattering and, if anything, it inspires you to continue doing well.
"If people are watching you, then you want to prove to them that you are a good player."
Parkin will have an international engagement next week after being drafted into the Scotland Future squad for a fixture against Austria.
The forward is relishing the chance to impress Walter Smith and is delighted to earn recognition for his efforts with Swindon.
He added: "I found out before the game against Bristol City on Wednesday and I am really looking forward to being involved.
"It is good to get recognition after having a good season but I'm not going to get carried away because it's just the first time that I've been involved."
