Swindon Town goalkeeper Peter Brezovan could be out for six months after breaking his arm.
Brezovan suffered the injury towards the later stages of his side's 3-0 victory over Grimsby Town on Saturday.
He has undergone an operation on the injury and now faces a lengthy period of rehabilitation.
"Peter underwent surgery on his injured right arm on Sunday," Swindon's physio Dick Mackey told the club's official website.
"Early indications suggest a recovery period of several months will be required to ensure good healing."
The Czech keeper is spending the season on loan at The County Ground from FC Brno and had started all 14 of Swindon's League Two games.
The injury also comes after the 26-year-old had been voted the Fans' Player of the Month for September.
