Foderingham eyes number one role

Wes Foderingham wants to make the goalkeeper's position at Swindon Town his very own.

Foderingham joined the Robins on a three-month loan from Crystal Palace last week and made his debut in the 2-0 victory at Accrington on Saturday. And now the 20-year-old is keen to establish himself as manager Paolo Di Canio's number one at the County Ground. "I'm here until January and I'd like to nail down that number one spot, keep putting in good performances and developing as a goalkeeper," he told the Swindon Advertiser. "I've never had a long run of games so this will be good for me. "I think I counted about 14 games until the end of my loan, and if I can get all of those 14 games then I'll be pleased. I've got three months now to show people what I can do."
