Di Canio satisfied with result

Paolo Di Canio praised his Swindon side's performance despite seeing them play out a goalless stalemate with Bristol Rovers on Saturday.

The Robins created the better chances in the League Two clash at the County Ground but could not find a way past Rovers goalkeeper Scott Bevan. But despite failing to convert a single opportunity, Di Canio still felt his team had put in one of their best displays of the season. The Italian said: "Undoubtedly that was our best first-half performance of the season. We played with intensity and passion. We were better than them. "But I don't believe in luck. It was a bad mistake of ours that we didn't score. We must score a goal given the intensity we showed in the first half."
