Di Canio lays into his players

Swindon boss Paolo Di Canio blasted his players' mental approach to the game after slipping to a 1-0 defeat to Brentford.

Clayton Donaldson's volley 13 minutes into the second half was enough to earn the in-form Bees a win to take them level on points with Di Canio's sixth-placed Robins. The hosts came into the game with back-to-back victories, but were unable to continue their good form against Uwe Rosler's side. The Italian said: "I am angry simply because we were on top of the game and three or four of my players didn't perform because they have a very average mentality. "We have players with a snobby attitude sometimes because they win one game then they fly away and do not recharge. We play attacking football and are not capable of taking our chance because four or five are not ready. "I am not happy but they had one chance and were ready to take it."
