The former England midfielder has been appointed as MK Dons boss after resigning from his position at Macclesfield Town.
He feels minor tweaking of the playing staff will enable the club to have a team capable of clinching promotion next season.
And he is keen to have strike duo McLeod and Platt in his plans as he looks to help the club up the Football League ladder.
MK Dons are prepared to listen to offers for McLeod, while Platt is attracting interest from the Championship, but Ince hopes to persuade the pair to stay.
"We've got some very good players at this club," Ince told Sky Sports News. "Some clubs have made bids for them and there is interest.
"It's down to me to sit down and try to convince them to stay, and tell them how we're going forward, and what the dream is.
"For this club and for the chairman that is to get in the Championship and the Premiership, so I will sit down and talk to the likes of McLeod and Platt, and certain other players.
"There will be some coming in and some players going out."
