Teenage forward cannot wait to get started at the Allianz Arena

Dale Jennings believes securing a dream move to Bayern Munich will allow him to develop as a footballer. One of the most surprising pieces of transfer business conducted this summer has seen the 18-year-old head to Allianz arena on a three-year contract. Bayern have snapped up the highly-rated forward from Tranmere, where he graduated through the youth ranks to become a first-team regular in 2010/11. The deal is initially set to cost the German giants around £600,000, but that figure could rise to £2million depending on how successful Jennings is.

Progress

He is confident he will catch the eye with the Bundesliga outfit, with it virtually impossible not to improve when working for such a prestigious club. Jennings told Sky Sports News: "It's a three-year contract. If I do well for the B team, I can progress into the first-team and hopefully start training with them in a couple of months and the years to come. "It's a great club and it's a great opportunity for me. The players they have got, it's only going to make me a better player, with the coaching staff they have got. I'm looking forward to getting started. "Some of the players in the first-team - the likes of (Franck) Ribery, (Thomas) Muller, (Bastian) Schweinsteiger - are some great players, so if I train with them it will only make me a better player."
