Dean Bowditch is desperate to finally go on an FA Cup run with MK Dons after an emphatic 6-0 win over Nantwich.

The 25-year-old bagged the fourth and fifth goals of his Dons career as they progressed to the competition's second round. Karl Robinson's side will face Barnet in the next round and Bowditch is eager to join the Premier League and Championship teams in the third round. He told the club's official website: "I want to go on a cup run, I want to win the game. I've never been on a cup run before and for me personally it would be an achievement to get into the third round or fourth round. "I haven't really gone on a run, I haven't played when we have been in the competition and it's been one of those competitions that I have always wanted to be a part of, because it is a fantastic competition. "The teams come through from the lower leagues and they give it a right good go, there's always a few shocks, it's a competition I always want to go as far as I can in and I think the boys understand that as well."
