MK Dons winger Daniel Powell is eager to get through the final two games of pre-season without injury.

The 23-year-old sustained ankle ligament damage in training just days before the start of the 2013/14 campaign, an injury which ruled him out of action until late September. "This time last year I got injured so the main thing for me is just to keep fit and keep my confidence high. The best thing to do is just put it to the back of my mind and get to the start of the season which I can't wait for, Powell told the official club website. Saturday's friendly with Brackley Town and Monday's clash with Leicester are the Dons' final two warm-up games before the season opener against Gillingham at stadium:mk on August 9th. "Everyone still needs more match fitness and we've got the two games left to get back to 100 percent," Powell added.
