Shrewsbury have pulled off a double loan swoop for striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and defender Jack Grimmer.

Ebanks-Blake and Grimmer, returning for a third spell, will remain at the Shrews until the end of the season after joining from Chesterfield and Fulham respectively.

Ebanks-Blake told the club's official website: "Delighted to get it over the line and looking forward to getting in and meeting the lads and going to training.

"I want to play football, the manager wants me to come in and that was important to me and it was an easy decision."

Grimmer, who helped the club win promotion to Sky Bet League One during the 2014/15 season, added: "It feels good to be back.

"It's a place I know very well, because obviously it's my third stint here, so I think the club know what they're getting, I know what I'm getting, so it suits everyone down to the ground."
