Shrewsbury Town manager Gary Peters has let another two players leave the club.
Shrewsbury Town manager Gary Peters has continued his preparations for next season by allowing another two players leave the club.
Club captain Kevin Sharp and midfielder Jay Denny join former Newcastle player Jamie McClen in having their contracts terminated by mutual consent before the end of the season.
Both players moved to Gay Meadow last summer with Sharp playing in most of The Shrews' games this term, while youngster Denny has play 17 times for the club.
"We're planning for next season and because of that we're talking to some of the players we feel may not be here next season," said Peters on the club's official website.
"You have to plan early and I've made contact with a lot of players already.
"It's about putting the feelers out so we can have a stronger squad next season than we do now."
