The Rovers boss revealed the news ahead of his side's clash with Darlington this weekend, although the player is not included in the squad to travel to The Reynolds Arena.
Graydon told the club's official website: "Junior went in yesterday and had a successful operation on his knee.
"They cleared up and tidied up the area, and now once that has all settled down I hope he won't be out for too long.
"I'm sure Junior will be happy the repair has taken place, and it's just a case of watching his progress closely over the next few weeks."
In other news, Graydon has confirmed that starlet Lewis Haldane has agreed his first professional contract with the club.
The former Southampton trainee has made huge strides recently that has seen him impress at reserve team level, as well as on 'work experience' at Clevedon Town, and has made the step up to first team level culminating in a string of substitute appearances.
Graydon added on the club's website: "The good news with Lewis is that he has agreed a contract with us this week, and he will now move on to professional status.
"I am absolutely delighted - I think the lad has worked hard towards this.
"There is no point signing players if you don't have faith in them, and I have got faith in this lad."
