Bristol Rovers defender Byron Anthony is set to be out for several weeks with a knee injury.
Bristol Rovers defender Byron Anthony is likely to be out for several weeks with a knee injury.
Anthony was hurt during his side's 2-2 draw with Walsall on Saturday and was stretchered off after 33 minutes.
He has already been ruled out of the New Year's Day clash with Torquay United and Rovers boss Paul Trollope (pictured) admits it could be some time before Anthony is back in his plans.
"We believe Byron has some ligament damage and we'll be getting it scanned as soon as possible," Trollope told the club's official website.
"The news is a blow to us because he has been in fantastic form and we will miss him.
"We'll have to wait and see what the scans show, but we could be without him for quite a few weeks now."
