Queens Park Rangers have sent Emmanuel Ledesma back to Genoa after cutting short his loan.

Balanta recalled from Wycombe

Queens Park Rangers have sent Emmanuel Ledesma back to Genoa after cutting short the midfielder's loan. Ledesma joined the R's on a season-long loan back in the summer and the Championship club had the option of a £2.4million permanent deal. However, QPR have confirmed that the Argentine's stay at Loftus Road has been terminated by mutual consent. During his time with the club, Ledesma scored four goals in 23 appearances, with his highlight a hat-trick in a Carling Cup win over Carlisle United in August. Meanwhile, QPR have recalled teenage striker Angelo Balanta from his loan spell at Wycombe Wanderers. Balanta was due to stay at Wycombe until 14th February and had scored three goals in 11 games since joining the League Two leaders in November.
