Buckle 'hurting' as Pirates sink

Bristol Rovers boss Paul Buckle was disappointed his side failed to get back to winning ways after seeing the Pirates beaten 2-1 at Burton.

Buckle's side, who won 5-2 last weekend, took the lead through Matt Harrold's header. However, goals from Cleveland Taylor and Billy Kee gave the hosts the three points. "We're hurting because we thought after the good win at home that we could kick on," Buckle said. "It really looked like we were going to do that because first 20 minutes or so there was only one team in control of the game. "That's not being disrespectful to the opposition, but we were on the front foot and we were doing everything right. "We got ourselves a goal and it looked like there was only going to be one winner, but we failed to take the initiative and we failed to do the nasty stuff. "We did clear our lines and we conceded two goals in what I would call a crazy 10 minutes. Burton's attempts on goal were minimal and we've paid a massive price."
