Bristol Rovers have offered contracts to eight players ahead of the 2013/14 League Two campaign.

Fabian Broghammer, Oliver Norburn and Ellis Harrison, regulars in John Ward's side during the second half of the league campaign, have been offered new deals along with youngsters Ollie Clarke, Mitch Harding and Jordan Goddard. Seanan Clucas and Danny Woodards, who both suffered cruciate ligament injuries this season, have both been offered new deals. "They are two players we would have offered contracts to had they been fit, and we feel they still have a lot to offer the club," Ward told the club's official website. "They proved their worth to me since I joined the club, and even though their involvement was cut short, they played a big part in what we are trying to do here. "We will also be getting three new faces with players returning from injury. With Matt Harrold, Matt Gill and David Clarkson all expected to be back for pre-season it will be like having three new signings." Fellow long-term injury victims Scott Bevan and Adam Virgo will stay with the club until they are back to fitness but have not been offered new deals along with Joe Anyinsah, Ross Staley, Connor Finn and Sam Kamara and former Sunderland striker Oumare Tounkara.
