Harry Beautyman leaves Peterborough United for Northampton Town

Northampton have signed Peterborough midfielder Harry Beautyman for an undisclosed fee.

Beautyman, 24, has put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the newly-promoted Cobblers who will join Peterborough in Sky Bet League One next season.

"Harry is a very good addition for us," Northampton boss Rob Page told the club's official website.

"He is a lively character and a player who has a decent amount of experience in League One.

"He is also a good age, who will get better and better, and I think we are signing him at a good time."

Beautyman, who began his career at Leyton Orient, joined Peterborough in November 2014 and has made 45 appearances in League One, scoring five goals.
