Currie was released by Wycombe at the close of last season and Fry is quietly optimistic of landing the talented 30-year-old midfielder.
''Darren is a player I have always admired; although he has had offers from better clubs up north, he is a southern boy and hopefully we can sort something out,'' Fry told the club's official website.
''I am hoping to persuade him to stay in London and sign for us rather than moving up north.''
Fry's second target is Kennedy and the Peterborough owner believes a deal for the former Wigan left-sider could be concluded this week.
''Peter and his family came at the weekend and I showed him around and at a few properties in the city,'' continued Fry.
''He is enquiring about a few schools and hopefully I will have something later in the week.''
