Peterborough have released four players following relegation.Following relegation to League Two Peterborough owner Barry Fry has shown the door to four out-of-contract players.
Veteran striker Andy Clarke, midfielder Steve Thompson and defenders Christopher Kanu and Simon Rea have all been told that they have no futures at London Road.
Fry admits that he had informed the quartet that they could speak to other clubs from January but that as yet, no interest had been expressed from elsewhere.
''All four of them are now out of contract but when I last spoke to them, they had not got themselves fixed up for the new campaign,'' said Fry.
''However, it is early days and not many clubs would pay them wages when I am paying them until the end of June.''
