Stockport have been handed a blow with news of injury to Michael Rose.
Stockport's League Two promotion bid has been handed a blow with news of injury to Michael Rose.
The 24-year-old defender pulled up 52 minutes into County's surprise 7-2 mauling at the hands of Rochdale on Saturday and a miserable afternoon was compounded with Rose's sustaining of a serious injury.
Rose faces between six to seven months on the sidelines after tearing his interior cruciate ligament, with his scheduled return being the early stages of next season.
The former Yeovil man, who arrived at Stockport in the summer, is to see a surgeon next week before undergoing an operation.
