Slade fumes after red card

Leyton Orient will appeal against the red card shown to Solomon Taiwo in the 1-1 draw with Walsall.

Dean Cox had given the home side the lead after 34 minutes, but five minutes later midfielder Taiwo was red-carded after a two-footed tackle on Florent Cuvelier, and a late header from Saddlers central defender Olly Lancashire left them frustrated. "The red card was a ridiculous decision and we'll be appealing it straight away," insisted manager Russell Slade. "Walsall are going to stay up this year, I say that because if Lady Luck is with them like that, they'll have a great chance of staying up."
