Wycombe's top scorer Jermaine Easter is dreaming of a move to the Premiership.
Wycombe Wanderers' top scorer Jermaine Easter is dreaming of a move to the Premiership.
Easter has caught the eye this season for his exploits in the Carling Cup after scoring in every round of the competition.
He comes up against Premiership champions Chelsea on Wednesday, live on Sky Sports 1, in the first leg of Wycombe's semi-final.
It will be an opportunity for Easter to showcase his talents and the striker admits he would relish the chance to play in the top flight.
"I'm like any other player," Easter told Sky Sports News.
"Obviously when I was a young lad I watched the Premiership games and dreamed about playing at that level.
"You don't dream about playing in the lower leagues. I've got those dreams just like anyone else."
Though Wycombe have already beaten Fulham and Charlton in previous rounds, Easter is expecting a much sterner test against Chelsea.
He added: "Against the other teams it's been one game, so this is completely different because it's two games.
"A lot of Premiership teams struggle to beat Chelsea twice so for us to go and do it is going to be ridiculously difficult.
"There is no pressure on us. They're going to be expected to win and we're massive underdogs, so we will go into the game and enjoy it."
